Who are we?

At AnimAId our mission is to provide a safe and caring environment for all the animals that come through our doors. We strive to find loving, forever homes for each and every animal that comes into our care & we do this with the support of our amazing foster carers, veterinary partners & generous donors.

There are real health benefits to owning a pet and as such, AnimAID Community exists to support vulnerable members of the community with the maintenance of their pet’s health. We support elderly or otherwise vulnerable members of the community to care for their pet through regular visits, transportation to the vet clinic and/or finding a suitable foster home for their pet should they no longer be able to care for for one.

AnimAID works with local support & emergency services to

identify members of the community who may require assistance with emergency evacuation plans & actions.

We do this by creating animal focused planning & practice of pet evacuations such as rehearsed loading of horses, ponies, goats etc. so that they are already familiar with loading onto floats before emergencies arise.

We also provide emergency foster care of animals for vulnerable people in the community should they need to stay in hospital, are escaping DV situations etc.

Our team is made up of dedicated animal-loving volunteers with over 100 years of combined animal care & welfare experience. Our team are all passionate about providing the best care possible to the animals in our care. We work tirelessly to ensure that each animal receives the love and attention & medical care they deserve.
